Our November feature project is none other
than Guelph’s own Sleeman Brewery.
It’s been a pleasure to facilitate in the growth of our local
brewery with the addition of a new tank farm. In order to support
six new tanks the need for a heavy steel design and construction was
necessary. Each tank weighs 140 000 pounds and contains 210 000 litres,
which means the tank farm support structure is carrying a total of
840 000 pounds. This new structure supports the tallest tanks on site.
They can be seen towering over the Sleeman property and they’re
visible from the Hanlon Expressway.
